What's Next?

$1,800.00

Acrylic on canvas

123cm x 103cm

Solid Blackwood frame

This work sits in the quiet space just after something has shifted and before the next thing arrives. It lives in that suspended moment where the air feels different but nothing has fully revealed itself yet.

Layers of blue move from depth to light, like water thinning into sky, or a horizon slowly lifting. There is weight at the base and release above. A sense of grounding followed by openness. The surface holds traces of what has already passed while leaving room for what has not yet formed.

Part of my Liminal series, What’s Next? reflects the experience of standing at a threshold. Not rushing forward. Not clinging to what was. Simply noticing the pause. The subtle recalibration that happens when you allow yourself to rest in uncertainty.

The texture and softened transitions invite the viewer to sit with the work over time. To notice how it shifts with light, distance and mood. It is less about answers and more about permission. Permission to wait. To breathe. To trust that clarity often comes after stillness.

Currently resting in my studio DM me to view.
