A way forward will appear

$2,000.00

Acrylic on canvas

123cm x 123cm

Solid Blackwood frame

This painting explores movement through uncertainty. Darker, grounded tones anchor the lower half of the work, while lighter passages rise through the centre, interrupted and softened rather than clearly resolved. The vertical flow suggests progress that is gradual and uneven, shaped by pause as much as action.

Layering and veiling allow earlier marks to remain visible, holding traces of what has come before. Colour is restrained but emotionally charged, with deep reds carrying weight and pale greys offering moments of breath and possibility.

The work invites the viewer to sit with uncertainty and to trust that forward motion does not always announce itself clearly. Sometimes, a way forward appears only when space is allowed for it.

Currently resting in my studio DM me to view.
