Acrylic on canvas
105cm x 105cm
Solid Blackwood frame
Life Keeps Moving sits within my Liminal series and reflects the quiet, continuous nature of change. Not the dramatic moments, but the steady shifts that happen whether we are ready or not.
The painting is built through layered surface and restrained colour, allowing earlier marks to remain visible beneath what comes later. Nothing is erased. Each decision rests on the last, creating a sense of movement that is slow, grounded, and inevitable.
Texture plays a central role here. It holds time. It records pauses, pressure, and release. The surface carries its own history, just as we do, suggesting that even in stillness, something is always unfolding.
This work is about continuity rather than resolution. About recognising that movement does not always announce itself, but it is always present.
Currently resting in my studio DM me to view.
