Acrylic on canvas
103cm x 153cm
Solid Blackwood frame
Change comes to us all sits within my Liminal series, which explores moments of transition and the quiet spaces between what was and what is becoming.
This work reflects the inevitability of change not as disruption, but as a steady and universal force. Layers are built slowly, allowing traces of earlier decisions to remain visible beneath the surface. Nothing is erased entirely. Each mark contributes to what follows.
The restrained palette and shifting tonal fields invite the viewer to pause and sit within uncertainty rather than resist it. Movement is suggested without direction, creating a sense of suspension rather than resolution.
This painting is not about arrival. It is about acceptance. About recognising that change does not announce itself loudly. It arrives gradually, shaping us through accumulation, memory, and time.
Currently resting in my studio DM me to view.
