Acrylic on canvas
123cm x 123cm
Solid Blackwood frame
This painting lives in the space where something gently lifts. Part of my liminal series, it reflects transition not as heaviness, but as release.
Turquoise and softened pink move through the surface, bringing a sense of openness and renewal. These colours carry warmth and optimism, suggesting breath returning, lightness after holding on, and the quiet excitement that comes with change beginning to feel possible.
There is still depth here, layers that speak to what has come before, but they no longer dominate. Instead, they support what is rising. New beginnings rarely arrive with certainty. They arrive with energy, with colour, with a subtle shift in mood that tells you something is opening.
The textured surface responds to light and movement, revealing different moments as you pass by. The painting asks the viewer to meet it where they are, to notice how optimism can coexist with complexity.
Currently resting in my studio DM me to view.
