Liminal Joy

$2,000.00

Acrylic on canvas

123cm x 123cm

Solid Blackwood frame

In keeping with my Liminal series, Liminal Joy explores moments of quiet transition through layered abstraction.

The painting began with an intuitive underpainting created with my niece, Millie. Those early marks established movement and rhythm, forming a foundation of energy rather than a fixed narrative.

As the work evolved, the initial lines softened and receded, giving way to a restrained and atmospheric surface. Layers of blue and muted light hold a sense of calm motion, allowing the painting to feel both grounded and open.

Liminal Joy continues my exploration of memory, transition, and emotional depth.

Currently resting in my studio DM me to view.
