Where the Light Falls

$1,200.00

Acrylic on canvas

83cm x 83cm

(Framed)

There’s something about that stretch of coast near Bribie—the way the light hits late in the day, the stillness, the pull of something familiar.

The Leading Light has always been there in the background. Not loud, not showy. Just steady. A marker in the landscape, and in memory.

This painting holds that feeling. Not an exact scene, but the sense of it—the warmth, the shimmer, the quiet comfort of place.

I paint from what lingers. Places I’ve passed through, held onto, returned to in my mind. This is one of them.
