The Rock Has Grown
Acrylic on canvas
43cm x 43cm
(Framed)
As a young child my grandfather gave me a pot of succulents with a magic rock that would grow if I watered it every day. The rock didn’t grow but the plants flourished.
2024 marks my daughter’s graduation from medicine and it has taken her to the blustery Southern coast of Victoria. The wild and windswept environment is stark yet absorbing. This series of paintings exemplifies a journey of strength, resilience, growth & intention.
