Burn Off

$1,800.00

Acrylic on canvas

123cm x 103cm

(Framed)

As a child of Grafton I have memories planted of driving by burning sugar cane fields. The smell permeated the air and the process was wild yet controlled, guided. Burn Off evolved without a conscious realisation - forming into cane fields from long held memories.

Capturing my memories of cane fields burning in Northern NSW - this piece is full of textured layers of both impasto and acrylic .
